This page explains what data the website boutiquehotel-paraty.com (and this preview) collects from people who visit it, subscribe to our Paraty tips or talk to reception through the chat, what each piece of data is for and how long we keep it, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei 13.709/2018, LGPD).

This site never asks for a password, CPF (Brazilian tax number) or payment details in any form of its own - bookings and payments happen on Cloudbeds' page, which has its own privacy policy.
Cookies used on this site
The notice shown on your first visit gives you two choices: accept all the cookies below, or continue with only what is strictly necessary for the site to work.
- Necessary - remember your language choice and whether you have already subscribed to our Paraty tips (so we don't show you the same form again). They can't be switched off, because the site needs them to work, and they send nothing outside your browser.
- Analytics (Google Analytics) - only loaded if you accept.
- Chat (Asksuite) - only loaded if you accept; without it, the WhatsApp button still works as normal.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.
Who we share data with
Only with the providers of each service: Google (Analytics), Asksuite (chat), Cloudbeds (booking engine) and Resend (sending the subscription confirmation e-mail). No data is sold or shared for third-party advertising.
If you tap a WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp (Meta), under its own privacy policy; we only see what you write to us.
Google, Cloudbeds and Resend are based outside Brazil, and some data may be processed on servers abroad. This international transfer happens only to provide the services described above, with the contractual safeguards these providers offer, in line with art. 33 of the LGPD.
How long we keep it
Subscribers' e-mail addresses are kept until you ask to unsubscribe. Booking data follows Cloudbeds' own retention period and the applicable tax law. Analytics and chat cookies follow the standard periods of Google Analytics and Asksuite, respectively.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) you can ask at any time, by writing to info@boutiquehotel-paraty.com: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction of incomplete or out-of-date data, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about whom we share it with, and withdrawal of consent. We reply within 15 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd.
Changes
We may update this page as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
